The Swirbul Library staircase was designed by architect Richard Neutra and is both a beautiful, and an iconic, image of Adelphi University. Neutra described his design as symbolizing “the spiraled ascent to wisdom.” This cover photograph is a perfect representation of Adelphi University's teaching philosophy and the search process for the new president.
