Opening layout for a feature article on Mary Pierce. Supervised the on-location portrait photo shoot in Florida. The concept was to capture Ms. Pierces’ glamour girl image in a manner reminiscent of Hollywood movie stills from the 1930s and ’40s. Using a duotone version of the photograph, a subdued palette was created to further emphasize the vintage yet timeless feel.
